Nigerian police have rescued four kidnap victims following a gunfight with suspected abductors in Abuja. The Anti-Kidnapping Unit and Police Mobile Force responded swiftly after receiving reports of the abduction.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria has scheduled a seven-hour power outage in Abuja from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for preventive maintenance at the Katampe 132/33kV Transmission Substation, affecting Mpape, Maitama, and Life Camp.
